Purpose

Clinical Context
BI-RADS applied to mammography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging. BI-RADS 3 (probably benign, less than 2 percent malignancy) short-term follow-up in 6 months; BI-RADS 4 to 5 requires biopsy.
