Purpose
Acute subdural haematoma hyperdense on computed tomography; chronic subdural haematoma hypodense; associated with head trauma
Clinical Context
Subdural haematoma from tearing of bridging veins. High mortality if large. Subdural space has no membrane equals blood can accumulate. Chronic subdural haematoma equals liquified, hypodense.
