Muscles attaching to the coracoid process:
- Pectoralis minor - inserts on the medial border
- Coracobrachialis - arises from the tip
- Short head of biceps brachii - arises from the tip
Three important ligaments also attach here: the coracoacromial, coracoclavicular and coracohumeral ligaments.
