Mnemonic
The mobile wad is the group you can grip between finger and thumb on the lateral forearm, all supplied by the radial nerve:
- B - Brachioradialis
- E - Extensor carpi radialis longus
- B - Brevis, extensor carpi radialis brevis
Brachioradialis is the anomaly of the forearm: it is a flexor of the elbow yet is supplied by the radial nerve and lies in the extensor compartment, because it develops from the extensor mass and migrates anteriorly.
