Biceps femoris, semitendinosus and semimembranosus, supplied by the sciatic nerve
Expansion
- Biceps femoris - lateral, with a long head (tibial division) and a short head (common fibular division)
- Semitendinosus - medial
- Semimembranosus - medial and deep
They are supplied by the tibial division of the sciatic nerve (except the short head of biceps femoris) and both extend the hip and flex the knee.
